Small evenings outside the city.

The evening

An evening, hour by hour.

From the afternoon you leave the city to the morning you come back. Each evening has its own place, so the details shift. Here's roughly how it goes.

  1. Afternoon

    We leave the city together.

A host meets you at pickup and rides with you. One bus, a small group of strangers, and the city getting smaller in the window.

  2. Golden hour

    Chai on arrival.

You get in as the light turns gold. Bags down, shoes off, first chai, first names. Then there's time to wander.

  3. Dusk

    Everyone finds a spot.

As it gets dark, the group settles in. Depending on the place it's a fire pit, a terrace or a lakeside. Blankets come out.

  4. Evening

    Dinner, passed hand to hand.

Dinner is part of every evening. It's generous, local and made for sharing. Tell us about allergies or diets when you ask for a seat.

  5. Night

    One question, then the stars.

Phones go away. One question goes around the circle and everyone answers their own way. Some answers are funny. Some stay with you for years.

  6. Morning

    Sunrise, breakfast, home.

You wake up outside the city. Chai as the sun comes up, a slow breakfast, then the ride home, usually quieter than the ride out.

A few small things happen on the evening that we'd rather you find out for yourself.

Where you sleep

It changes with each evening.

Rooms, cottages or tents, picked for comfort. The details, washrooms included, come with the announcement.

Plan your own

An evening for your own people.

A team that has only met on calls. A birthday that deserves more than a restaurant. Old friends who keep saying "we should go somewhere." Tell us what your group loves and we'll design the evening around it.

Sounds like your kind of evening?

The next evening will be announced soon. Ask for a seat and you'll hear first.
